  11. I would go for the Diamond Speedstar 24X which is faster and cheaper
  12. than the 1280 . You can get it for about $160. You have to consider also
  13. the speed of DOS operations. The 1280 was 50% slower than my cheapie
  14. SVGA with DOS. The 24X was 2x the speed of 1280.
