- I have the same drive MR535 formatted as an RLL and I too get a
- buzzing when the heads are in a particular spot. I have learned
- to do some sort of disk access when this happens. For two years
- I have assumed as you did that I have a rattle external to the
- drive.... I still expect that the buzz is external but I will
- pay more attention to it..

- This has been little help....sorry.. I woulden't be opening the
- drive however unless you are Very sure of your environment (dust,
- cathair & such)
