  20. YeS!  If you run Windows, you want a local bus video card.  Even if you dont,
  21. the local bus will speed up any video operations your system does, even in
  22. standard VGA modes.

  27. If the card is properly designed, you shouldn't have any problems.  I happen
  28. to use a local bus ATI, and it flawlessy runs all VGA, SVGA, and 8514 software
  29. that I have tried, and they have ironed most of the serious problems out of
  30. their Windows drivers.

  37. I really don't know much about those two cards, but when you get into fast
  38. local bus video and into the 20 and 30 M winwark range you wont notice much
  39. difference.
