  29. Results on my 386sx16MHz 4M RAM (ISA of course):

  37. Possible explanations for the much-smaller-than-expected difference, especially
  38. for 256colors and above:
  39.  
  40. 1. The card doesn't take full advantage of faster CPU/EISA bus.
  41. 2. Windbench3.1 is fony.
  42. 3. 486dx50MHz CPU's are fony.
  43. 4. Kerry got a fony machine.
  44. 5. My dealer was so screwed up that day, he actually stuffed in a 486dx25MHz!

  46. (Puzzlingly, it runs faster in 1024x768x256 than 800x600x256!)

  48. Something's wrong here... Could anyone with similar platforms confirm both sets
  49. of test results?
