- I agree. This may be a personal opinion, but I feel that the term "pc"
- is a lot more familiar and accessible than "x86". When I first saw the
- term "x86" in this newsgroup, I did not understand what it meant.
- Somehow, "386" and "486" sounds extremely different from "x86" That "x"
- reminds me of xwindows, etc etc.
