  14. I have an acquaintance who bought an IBM PS/1 (or 2, she's not quite sure). She
  15. got MS Windows and MS Works bundled with the system.

  17. The software was already installed and she also got the manuals - BUT she
  18. didn't receive any distribution disks! I think this is very strange. When I got
  19. MS Windows from Northgate they also sent me a set of diskettes. She  tried
  20. unsuccessfully to contact IBM to see if she  should have gotten the diskettes.

  22. Anyone out there bought a PS2 or PS1 and gotten diskettes for all of the 
  23. installed software? What do you think about this practice of not providing 
  24. the software on floppies? Seems strange to me.
