- I recently installed a SpeedStar 24X board and experienced a perplexing
- problem. It behaved fine in Windows and in DOS but I had problems with
- screen redraws when returning to Windows from the DOS prompt. I tried
- every switch setting on the board and tweaked PIFs until I was blue in
- the face with no resolution. Than I recalled that I was using the
- popular ANSI.SYS replacement NANSI.SYS. When I went back to plain old
- ANSI.SYS the problem went away. I also tried it with the newer NNANSI.SYS
- and the problem recurred. So.... if you are having similar problem and are
- using NANSI or a something similar, give it a try. Might save you a headache.
