- I am trying to install OS/2 on my disk drive. WHen I put the install
- disk in or any disk with a boot image on it I get the error:
- NO ROM BASIC
- SYSTEM HALTED

- It spins the floppy for a second and then gives me the above message.

- My configuration is :
- 386-dx40 motherboard
- PC-Chips chipset
- AMI BIOS dated 05/91
- A WD-1006v RLL hard drive controller
- 2 hard drives , a ST-277R is c:, and a ST-251R formatted to RLL(=ST-277R)
- A panasonic 1.44 meg 3.5 inch drive.
