  10. I am trying to install OS/2 on my disk drive.  WHen I put the install
  11. disk in or any disk with a boot image on it I get the error:
  12. NO ROM BASIC
  13. SYSTEM HALTED
  14.  
  15. It spins the floppy for a second and then gives me the above message.
  16.  
  17. My configuration is :
  18. 386-dx40 motherboard
  19.       PC-Chips chipset
  20.       AMI BIOS dated 05/91
  21. A WD-1006v RLL hard drive controller
  22. 2 hard drives , a ST-277R is c:, and a ST-251R formatted to RLL(=ST-277R)
  23. A panasonic 1.44 meg 3.5 inch drive.
