- You are making this sound like some nefarious activity on the
- part of ZEOS. Yes, your PC is CAPABLE of 64KB memory. That
- doesn't mean that ZEOS guarantees they can supply it if they
- can not get delivery themselves.

- I have been after distributors for several months to even get a
- delivery quote on 16MB 72pin SIMMS without success. They simply
- aren't available and as best they can find out, no USA mfr.

- You can get the same answer from Gateway. The only difference
- with them is that they will take back the 4MB simms WHENEVER
- they can replace with 16MB simms.

- BTW, you can thank your USA Dept. of Commerce for this situation
- because they responded to a complaint from that outfit in
- Idaho who TRIES to make these memory chips that Korean
- suppliers were dumping. So what happens? The price goes up,
- supplies shrink, and the Koreans sell their stuff to countries
- who don't screw around with them.
