- The heat-sink "ribs" are there to make it operate just as cool as the
- 486sx. A cooling fan isn't such a bad idea if you purchased your
- system components seperately and assemble the system yourself (since
- you probably don't have the facility to perform a thermal test). The
- 237-pin OverDrive(tm) probably has a similar heatsink, but since it is
- a larger chip I suppose it might need more cooling.
