- Thanks to the suggestion of a fellow netter, my crashing Windows
- dilemna appears to be solved. All I had to do was remove the
- zero wait state jumper and I haven't had a hang since.
-
- I'm still getting those goofy divide errors at the DOS prompt,
- and I found a very kooky connection. It's my MOUSE! Sometimes
- when I load the mouse driver, moving the mouse will cause this
- "divide error" message at the DOS prompt, and the # of messages
- is proportional to the time the mouse is moving around. I
- noticed this when I accidentally bumped into it and got the
- resulting error message. It's an el cheapo mouse called F2
- Mouse MS-300. It's the only one I could find in black.
- Again, I stress that I never had this hokey stuff happen with
- the Speedstar Hi-Color card I used to own, so I still think
- there is a connection with the 24X card, but what? You folks
- helped me through round 1, how about doin' it again? :)
