  10. Hi,
  11. I would like to have some informations about Compaq's Prolinea serie.
  12. I know that the Prolinea is the bottom of the line from Compaq, but I am
  13. willing to buy an international brand (I am living in the US but I will
  14. soon go back to my country where Compaq is very well known whereas
  15. great clone maker like Gateway or Zeos are still inexistant)
  16. and I have a limited budget.
  17. I know also that the Prolineas don't have any external cache, is it a
  18. big drawback if I want to run common softwares: Windows (with Word, Excel,
  19. Qpro, Power Point...) and some other Dos applications (Fortran, Matlab..).
  20. I am interested in the following configuration:
  21. 486 DX33
  22. 240 MB Hard Drive
  23. 8 MB Ram.
