- I was wondering if there are laid down standards for IDE hard drives. I know
- that usually, you can run up to two IDE drives with a single IDE card, but
- what I'd like to know is if those two drives must be made by the same
- manufacturer. I currently have a K-Lok 105 MB IDE, and if I get another
- drive, it will probably be Conner or Seagate. I know that the drives have to
- be run as a master and a slave, but can a K-Lok drive be slave to a Conner
- drive, or vice versa?

- Any help would be appreciated. Please E-Mail me:
