- I am trying to increase the size and number of high memory regions
- on my system using QEMM386. The motherboard is a Contaq, and the
- BIOS is by AMI (dated 12/12/91). I also have a Diamond Speedstar 24X
- and an Always IN-2000 SCSI controller (set to D800, but I can change
- that, if necessary). I've used Manifest and LOADHI to look at the
- memory available and used, but I'm not sure what is really already
- used and what isn't (and can therefore be remapped by QEMM386). I
- have used PC clones for a long time, and am comfortable with them,
- but I have never had a need to mess with the high memory before.
- What I'd like is some general pointers and hints to figure out the
- actual memory map of the system.
