  14. I can't seem to get Microlink to work properly and I haven't been able to figure
  15. it out (I'm obviously missing something simple).

  17. I want to be able to dial into work.  The sequence I would type in in "dumb
  18. terminal" mode would be...

  25.   yyyyy    is a code number that you dial in when you get a short dial tone
  26.   zzzz     is a second "service" number to dial in again when you get another
  27.              dial tone.

  29. After this, you would get a standard paragraph (blah, blah, blah) and finally
  30. a service prompt, say,

  34. at which you would type in the unix nodename to connect to, say, "mynode"

  36. then you get the standard UNIX login prompt.

  38. My problem is that I have be unable to get any portion of this to work either
  39. from a script or from a "dumb terminal" mode.  When I use the "disconnected"
  40. mode, I can type the "ATDT" string but as soon as I get the service prompt
  41. (tty1234a>), Microlink drops the carrier!

  43. Does anyone have any idea what I might be doing wrong or have a script that
  44. may enlighten me as to what I'm doing wrong?  I do have the modem selected
  45. (correctly) as a Microcom 32bis.

  49. BTW, if someone has a 800# or an email address for the Microlink vendor, could
