- xautolock is OK, but I've switched to xscreensaver 1.8 because it does all
- that xautolock does and more. The two big differences are 1) being able to
- configure a LIST of what demos you want to run, rather than just one and 2)
- a wonderful fade-out and fade-in when the screen saving stops and starts.
-
- Oooh, I feel all wobbly...I think a shameless plug is about to appear...
-
- You can grab both screen savers from our HP-UX archive ftp.csc.liv.ac.uk
- (138.253.42.172) as the files /hpux/X11R4/Misc/xautolock-1.08.tar.Z and
- /hpux/X11R4/Demos/xscreensaver-1.8.tar.Z.
-
- In case you're wondering why they're in different directories, xscreensaver
- comes with a load of its own demos, whereas xautolock doesn't.
