- We have two HP Apollo 700's, and each is hooked up to a HP grey-scale
- monitor (98774A, 98774B). Here's the problem: shortly after installation,
- each of these monitors began to lose contrast, i.e. it became increasingly
- hard to read the screens. When we finally got around to calling HP (this
- is a grad-student lab. . .) they disavowed any general problems with these
- model monitors. My question is twofold: has anyone else experienced such
- problems, and, if so, what was the remedy? Responses either by E-mail
- or posting are welcome. Thanks.
