  13. We have two HP Apollo 700's, and each is hooked up to a HP grey-scale
  14. monitor  (98774A, 98774B).  Here's the problem:  shortly after installation,
  15. each of these monitors began to lose contrast, i.e. it became increasingly
  16. hard to read the screens.  When we finally got around to calling HP (this
  17. is a grad-student lab. . .) they disavowed any general problems with these
  18. model monitors.  My question is twofold:  has anyone else experienced such
  19. problems, and, if so, what was the remedy?  Responses either by E-mail
