- I've recently installed the numerical library LAPACK (replaces
- EISPACK and LINPACK) and noted in the BLAS docs that manufactureres
- may have a specially optimized version of the BLAS available. (BLAS
- stands for Basic Linear Algebra Subroutines I think).
