  15. Someone is willing to donate the folowing (1984+ vintage) equipment:

  17. HP series 100 (several),  2 floppy disks, monitor nad printer in a box.
  18. HP 3000 series 42 mini with a 7933 hard disk.
  19. HP 2602A printers (several)
  20. HP 2563A printers (several)
  21.  
  22. Some printers are HPIB and some are serial.

  24. The system was set up as a network and used in an accounting office on
  25. an engineering firm. Before determining if I should go out to look at them
  26. I had some questions (that the person on the other end is trying to answer.)

  29. What OS(s) ran on these? (if HP/UX was the only one I'll be happy,
  30.     I think the 100s ran DOS)
  31. What network was likely used? (ethernet tcp/ip would be best for me)
  32. How big was the hard disk?
  33. What was likely the disk interface (I expect HPIB so it won't move to
  34.     a PC or SUN)
  35. Could one add multiple serial lines to the 3000 and an ethernet card
  36.     supporting tcp/ip?
  37. What kind of printers are these?

  39. I expect these are too old for me to use, but who knows.
  40. If I don't take these items and anyone else is interested (they
  41. want a tax-deductable donation) I'll be happy to forward a phone
  42. number.
