- : Differential & fast/wide are not the same. Differential has a 50 pin
- : connector, and a 10 MB/s peak, while fast/wide has a 68 pin connector and a
- : 20 MB/s peak.
-
- The "16-bit Differential SCSI" port is fast/wide. Wide means 16 bits.
- The 735 has two SCSI ports, an 8 bit single ended port, and a 16-bit
- differential "fast/wide" port. HP also sells an EISA SCSI card which is
- 8 bit differential SCSI.
-
- If you get the 735 upgrade, your machine will be a 735. It will not be
- any different from the machine you would get if you ordered a new 735.
- The 735 CPU board has 16 Megabytes of memory built in (not removable),
- so you will have 16 Megabytes more than you had before. The memory boards
- for the 720,730 and 735 are all the same.
