- We have a customer who has an HP 750 with the typical DAT tape drive. He also
- has a Sun box that he wants to share tapes with, if not the drive. Is
- it possible to get a tape written on the HP DAT drive to be readable on the Sun
- or vice versa? HP Tech support said they didn't know...... If not, would
- it be possible to put the HP drive on the Sun and have it work?
-
- Unfortunately, since the installation is involved in defense work, they can't
- transfer data over the net (or even hook the damn thing up to the net....) so
- the only thing they can do is share tapes....
-
- Thanks in advance,
- Bill
