- I have gotten lots of advice WRT this post. I suspect now is a good time
- to follow-up with what I do know.

- The directory has both "." and ".." in it.

- If you run strings on "." (the undeletable directory) it shows files that
- were in it at one point in time.

- The link count on "." is correct.

- If you run fsck on the filesystem, it corrects 3 problems and after fsck
- finishes you can delete it.

- Ive also gotten advice about using unlink, which I also think will work, but
- Im much more cautious now that I know the filesystem is corrupting.
