- It's obviously difficult for DEC to find the resources for the work.
- Perhaps we out here could help them along a bit? I for one would be
- quite happy to write a driver or two in exchange for a bit of Alpha
- hardware for my home (though I would also, of course, need oodles of
- documentation, and so forth).

- This is not an idle offer - I _have_ written VMS drivers, though not
- for some time, and not on Alpha.
