  12. Sethost has a text upload/download feature with CTRL-F1 and Shift-F1.
  13. To send a text file, prepare Ultrix to receive a file by typing:

  15.     cat > foo.text
  16.  
  17. Then transmit the file with Shift-F1 (you will be prompted for a DOS
  18. pathname).   To transmit binary files this way, you must first
  19. uuencode them.
  20.  
  21. To retrieve text file from Ultrix to the PC, start the Receive File
  22. feature with CTRL-F1 and then just cat out the file on Ultrix.  When
  23. the transmission is done, toggle the CTRL-F1 off.  You may need to
  24. edit out a gratuitous shell prompt at the beginning or end of a file
  25. transmitted this way.
