- When the IIGS was released, Apple's rule-of-thumb was "once you have three
- or more boards in your machine, buy one of our fans". The Apple fan
- connects directly to the power supply, and plugs into the fan socket on
- the back edge of the motherboard. You should be able to connect any small
- fan to it (of course, matching specs and such).

- According to the schematic diagram in the Hardware Reference, the fan
- connector has one +12V pin; the other leads to ground.
