  19. Lower the SCSI ID of your hard drive. All drives draw a lot of power when
  20. they are starting up, and if your drive's power supply isn't really hefty
  21. then it might take too long to be ready for SCSI commands. Since the Ramfast
  22. scans from 7 down to 0, you can give the drive more time to be ready by
  23. lowering its ID. The Quantum 100 I have is like this, so I keep it at ID 4
  24. or so and while I still get the message for five/ten seconds I can turn
  25. everything on at once and it will all come up the first time.
