- Yeah.. but dont forget that the System 6.0 finder has lots of support code
- in order facilitate using the Extra's Menu. I'm not saying it couldn't be
- done.. But it would take lots of patches to the Menu Manager so that
- Applications didn't get Menu Events from Menu items that it doesn't know
- about. I know that I dont do much range checking on desktop applications
- that I write. I assume that Im not going to get a menu Item Selection
- outside of the range that _I_ defined for my application. Plus It is reasonable
- to assume that nobody should stick extra items (Save NDA's which dont count)
- in behind my back.
