  18.     The System 6.0 I installed from is the final release version.  I
  19. "followed all the rules", using the Installer, etc.  And why, I even
  20. did a low-level format, repartition and high-level format on my hard
  21. disk before trying to install it again.  Everything single thing works
  22. fine except for HFS.  It works with floppies but not hard disks
  23. partition.  I've tried copying System 6.0 from friends but the HFS part
  24. still wouldn't work perfectly.

  32.     The problem with installing AppleWorks GS seems more serious
  33. than that.  I tried using the Finder 6.0 to copy AWGS to the HFS
  34. partition and it HANGS during writing --- ALWAYS.  When I re-booted, I
  35. noticed that around 1 meg worth of info had been written b4 it hanged.
  36. In fact, it doesn't lie with AWGS alone; any software I tried dumping
  37. over to the HFS partition hangs the Finder during copy and always after
  38. about 1 meg was written.  Seems like a constant problem here.
