- No, LRO is out too. I had my name on order and I _think_ LRO messed it
- up. I kept asking them what the status was and was told that AE was
- sending in its last 7 PALs ever and that I was high enough up on the list
- that I'd be getting it. Well, I later read in GEnie, that someone else
- was told this and that LRO accidently skipped some people on the top
- of the list and sent the chips to the wrong people (he said he heard this
- from LRO). When I called LRO, the guy (John Hiller) denied it and said
- AE only sent 3 (or 4) and that I was not high enough up to get those.
- I was pissed, so I chewed him out (he didn't deserve it unless he was
- lying), but I have heard other horror stories about LRO, so that was just
- more fuel for my fire. (And why would the guy on GEnie make that up?)
- Sooooo, if anyone does know of another place, please tell me. I kinda
- lost interest when I realized I could only go from 7 to 10MHz. I doubt
- I have the 'new' TWGS, as I bought mine fairly early.
