- The pen mask doesn't affect font drawing. I think what you're supposed to
- do (I think this is what the tools do, you can verify it by stepping
- through a call that handles drawing a dimmed item) is draw the text
- normally, then use a rectangle call on top of the text to make it dimmed
- (can't remember the specific call though).
