  11. I've received a few pieces of mail on my 3.5" drive... Most said that there was
  12. a tension spring that needed adjusting.  So, I found it, behind the heads near
  13. the back of the board and next to the stepper motor, and tightened it one
  14. notch.  My drive promptly started to, believe it or not, gouge grooves in my
  15. disks.  So I put the spring back where it was originally.  It STILL gouges
  16. disks.

  18. I did some more poking around and I noticed that the bottom head and the
  19. little metal part around it is quite securely attached to the drive.  On top,
  20. though. the head and its corresponding little metal part seem to be quite
  21. loose.  Is it possible that the top part got dislodged, and is causing my
  22. trouble?
