- I used to have version 2.2.2 of GCC. Recently I installed GCC 2.3.3.
- Basically I just copied the whole distribution of 2.3.3 over my old
- files and deleted the directory compilers/amiga/2.2.2, since these
- binaries were obsolete (right?). I also copied the patched files from 2.3.3
- to my GCC: directory. Now when I do a "gcc -v" I still get version 2.2.2
- as my answer. Is this just because somebody forgot to change the version
- number or is my gcc screwed up somehow? I know that on the workstations
- I work on they all return 2.3.3 as their version number.
-
- Thanks,
-
- Stefan
