  25. machine, then they ARE NOT "knowledgable programmers".

  27. It's NOT difficult to write "hardware-bashing" programs that work on all
  28. setups.

  30. In all current Amigas, $dff180 is color register 0.  Yes, there are a
  31. couple complications with AGA, but it is still basically the case.

  56. It's a problem of catering to the largest market (1 meg A500), and making
  57. the game the best it can be with those requirements.

  59. If they didn't use "hardware-bashing" and went strictly through the OS,
  60. then very few people would buy the game because it would be unplayable on
  61. the system that the largest part of the market owns.
