- I don't know about that but I do suspect that few people are buying new
- Manx compilers. For the past few years they have been focusing on the
- MS-DOS and Mac machines and very little on the Amiga. SAS has passed them
- by _big time_ in the meanwhile. I was always a big Manx proponent (even
- after coming to work here) but, despite my own, personal efforts to
- convince them that they should play the game, they have not. They have
- only dabbled in it. The result is that SAS, who takes the Amiga seriously,
- has made it almost impossible to justify getting anything else.
-
- I wanted them in the game if for no other reason than the fact that they
- gave SAS some real competition (and vice versa) which benefitted the Amiga
- community by generating better compilers than we would have had otherwise.

- Huh? Manx had a viable, profitable product until _they_ let it slip away.
- No one is to blame but Manx.
