  13. The following problem has been bugging me alot, and I'm pissed off!

  15.    Say that I have a floppy that is not 100% OK and I save a file
  16.    to it. If it is my bad luck that my Amiga selects a bad sector
  17.    to save at; what happens? I have to press CANCEL several times
  18.    in the system requester and still the file will be corrupt!

  20. It seems that the Amiga tries to save at the sector with the error
  21. a number of times and then thinks: "Sorry, can't save at that sector,
  22. lets try to save the NEXT block of the file at the NEXT sector!"
  23. What I would like is: If an error is found, mark the block as bad
  24. in the (can't remember the name of the block that tells which sectors
  25. are used and which are free) and then try to save the block at another
  26. sector, and NO SYSTERM REQUESTER IS NEEDED!

  28. About the sys.req:s: ARE THEY NEEDED AT ALL?
  29. Most of them will not take no for an answer, some do nothing when
  30. I press RETRY, and some programs lock up if you press CANCEL when
  31. asked to insert a specific volume!
