  22. Agreed, to be sure.  But what's the best way to do this?  I had the
  23. impression that Fred didn't really want to be in the _distribution_
  24. business, but rather in the business of being a focal point to
  25. collect the software and make it available to as wide a base a
  26. possible.  I get the programs I want via FTP, and support the FTP
  27. site I use.  Seems to me that the volume of new releases lately
  28. has been higher than at some points in the past -- that tells
  29. me that the service is quite successful.  So, what's needed?  More
  30. direct subscriptions?  More program contributions?  Simply time for
  31. someone else to monitarily or physically help Fred out?
