- Agreed, to be sure. But what's the best way to do this? I had the
- impression that Fred didn't really want to be in the _distribution_
- business, but rather in the business of being a focal point to
- collect the software and make it available to as wide a base a
- possible. I get the programs I want via FTP, and support the FTP
- site I use. Seems to me that the volume of new releases lately
- has been higher than at some points in the past -- that tells
- me that the service is quite successful. So, what's needed? More
- direct subscriptions? More program contributions? Simply time for
- someone else to monitarily or physically help Fred out?
