- By installing 2.1 on my Amiga 2000 I cannot boot from the hard disk
- anymore. If I boot from a floppy I can mount the filesystem on the HD
- and normally access all files stored on it. The hard disk is from
- Supra Corp. (50 Mb) with Seagate controllers. It is on the SCSI addr 0
- and LUN 0. The new utilities 'HDToolbox' cannot see it, the error
- message 'Device not installed' is displayed and no action is possible.
-
- I've copied the harddisk.device and the mountlist file in the Devs
- drawers which does not do much. When the Amiga tried to boot from the
- HD I got the following GURU message but have no idea what it means:
-
- Error 01000 000F Task: 00c034f8
-
- The SupraFormat utilities shows that the first partition HAS the BOOT
- flag correctly set.
-
-
- Any hints? Help would be greatly appreciated, I've spent hours on this
- one already.
