- I own a GVP 530 120 Mb HD and 4 Mb 32 bits RAM.
- First thing, it really flies, sysinfo gives an acceleration ratio about 13.
- It's faster than an A3000 25 Mhz, especially when you relloc kickstart in 32
- bits RAM.
- Yes, it can have 1 to 8 Mb of 32 bits RAM but in fact you have only two
- places where to plug RAM memory so you can have 1,2,4 or 8 Mb not 3 or 5 for
- example.
- So, I recommend you to take 4 Mb as it can be expanded to 8 instead
- of 1Mb than can only be expanded to 2 Mb if you want to keep your first Mb.
- One thing, I don't like there's a switch that allow you to boot in 68000 but
- then you haven't access to RAM and HD.
- It has its own power supplier but no power on/off button. It just starts when
- you boot your 500 which is great I think regarding previous GVP HD.
-
- Hope this helps,
