- I have a problem with the font preferences in WB. Could someone please help?
-
- Although I have a lot of fonts copied to my fonts: directory (assigned to
- DH0:fonts), all of them are not recognized or cannot be opened when I click
- the font icon in preferences - for example I do not managed to set the
- system font to times. I think that the only readable is topaz 8, the rest
- are either too big to fit 80 characters on a line or too small to be displayed
- clearly in a non-interlaced monitor. And I think even the WB 1.3 system font
- looks nicer than topaz 8. How can I get preferences recognize also other
- fonts? The IBM fonts (do not remember where I have got them, possibly from
- Term) looks nice - and are even recognized, but they follow the MS-DOS enc-
- oding, thus making them unusuable in scandinavia.
- Observe that my monitor flickers with interlacing, it is the cheapest possible
- Philips, so I generally use it in non-interlace mode.
