- I'm using a Mouse Systems serial mouse on my A3000 with a GVP I/O
- Extender. The serial mouse is un-modified and I have to run a patch
- to get the Amiga to reconize the mouse on the I/O Extenders serial
- port. It's not the best method of getting the mouse to go because it
- requires a serial port (either the built-in Amiga one or one off of a
- multi-serial port card [in my case a GVP I/O Extender]), but it
- works... I had an extra serial port handy and the serial mouse was
- $cheap$. There's also a small patch program which will take input
- from the serial port and interpret them as mouse movements/buttons
- pressed.
-
- Other than the above method. If you have a Logitech Bus Mouse, you
- can chop off the connect and hookup a normal Amiga mouse connector,
- really simpl - there's an archive floating around with full
- instructions. LOGIMOUS.LHA
-
- You can also hack-up a Microsoft serial mouse to use with the Amiga,
- it requires some electrical skills and in my opinion not for the
- beginner. MSMOUSE.LHA
