- Hi!
- For the IBM PC there are available packet radio modems that
- connect to the serial port. It is fairly easy to build such a beast:
- the technique used is to generate the packets in software and pulse
- them on the DTR line, receive data on the CTS line, use RTS to key the
- transmitter, and send continuous NULS on TxD to power the modem.

- Has anyone written software for the Amiga to do this? The hardware
- part is relatively easy -- in fact there's a design in the January
- edition of Electronics Australia magazine -- but the close timing for
- generating the packet in software would require a bit more nous.
