- Yesterday I had to reformat one of my Wedge System drives. I carried
- out the low-level format and then ran the Amiga format command.
- All things seemed to be going well until it reached the phase
- when it displays ``Initializing Disk''. At his point I get
- a requester stating that the unit is not a DOS disk. If I issue
- the info command, the drive is shown as ``validating'', but there
- is no disk activity, and, in fact, its been validating for 24
- hours or more now, so I assume that it is not really validating.
- I am at a loss as to what to doin order to restore this drive
- to its former useful state.
