- Hello people,
-
- Since C= in their infinite wisdom saw fit to make the 1200 so small as to
- accomodate only 2.5 in IDE Hard Drives, I would like to pose this question to
- the general usenet community:
-
- Where can I get cheap 2.5 in Hard Drives, and how cheap is typically cheap?
- Where is the best place to mail order said Hard Drives? The prices here in
- Australia seem to be in the A$900 range for a 125 meg 2.5 IDE. This is
- around US$595 or 395 British pounds...
-
- Could some kind souls please post/email me the prices and
- recommendations as to a good mail order company with good prices and
- reasonably fast turnaround? The drive itself need only be reliable,
- doesn't have to be blindingly fast, like around 19 ms seek/access times will
- do...
-
- Thanks in advance...
-
- NY
-
- PS Why the hell didn't they just make the casing slightly bigger? *moan*
