  11.     Be VERY careful about termination with your SyQuest.  When I have
  12. improper termination, I begin to get read errors on my OTHER devices and
  13. lose massive amounts of data.  The easiest way to get the cable you want is
  14. to buy a Macintosh "SCSI System Cable" which has a 50-pin Centronics on one
  15. end and a 25-pin on the other.  I have all of my devices (six, all total)
  16. run with Mac cabling and it's a helluva lot easier to deal with.  Remember
  17. to leave termination on your internal drive and your SyQuest.  It'll only
  18. make a difference if you have all three devices connected simultaneously. 
  19. The terminators on the SyQuest are in the same place as they are in most
  20. hard drives.  The resistor packs are the same as Quantum and other
  21. manufacturer's packs.
