- At a clock speed of 25 Mhz, the most a "normal" cpu (that I am aware of)
- can execute at most 25 million instructions per second.

- The # is usually smaller unless the code can utilize the pipleline 100 % (not

- If the 060 was internally "overclocked" so that it can actually exec 4
- instructions per "external" clock, this would *still* limit its usefulness.
- (if if the outside world talks to the cpu 25 million times a second, it
- wouldn't be much useful to have more than one can actualy use.)
