  29. Probably the best Amiga MBus solution would include room for a significant
  30. amount of memory on the MBus side of the conversion.  The only real reason
  31. for doing an MBus board at all is to eliminate the engineering cycles necessary
  32. to take advantage of new SPARC processors.

  40. I'm a software type who has been out of touch with the hardware details
  41. for too long.  I checked with one of the hardware types, and he confirmed
  42. that it would be a royal b*tch to interface the Tsunami/microSPARC to the
  43. MBus; so there wouldn't really be a low-end MBus solution.  I still think
  44. the microSPARC would make a great co-processor in the Amiga.  And a directly
  45. interfaced microSPARC should be highly compatible with an MBus-based high-end
  46. SPARC.
