  25. You are talking about the Ace Pro-driver.  Yes, the Pro-drivers also
  26. spools print data.  Yes it works fine with my regular DJ500.  This
  27. software provides levels of colour seperation which can drive a DJ500C
  28. directly - using two passes, one for the CMY cartridge <re insert paper,
  29. change to K (black) cartridge>, do 2nd pass.  Note that the 500C only
  30. holds one cartridge.  The 550C holds 2 cartridges - the CMY and the K.
  31. Thus with suitable software, 1 pass printing of CMYK is possible.  Ace
  32. now do a modified Pro-driver for the 550C.  They offer this as an upgrade
  33. to existing Pro-driver owners (i.e.  me!).  Since I own a mono DJ500 is
  34. all I can say is that the Pro-drivers' colour seperation is great -
  35. allowing me to do 4 pass colour printing with seperate C, M, Y and K
  36. cartridges.  Laborious, but fun - but you should buy a 550C if you are
  37. planning 'serious' colour printing!
