  15. We have a (Hioki) Data Recorder (Model 8830) in our lab which has a
  16. GP-1b port.
  17.  
  18. I would like to download the data saved on this data recorder to an
  19. NEC PC 98xx (running japanese MS DOS) via the GP-1B port on the data
  20. recorder. I would expect that it is a GP-1B to RS-232 connection.

  22. Would you have some software to be run on the PC that can achieve this
  23. goal? where can i access it?

  25. If the above scheme will not work, do you have an alternate scheme?
