- I TOTALLY agree. Our college has made it QUITE clear. College is there
- to educate you, and it would be foolish to think that once you graduate,
- you're ready for the workplace. They're very clear. College is only the
- beginning--a degree lets companies know that you have the knowledge base
- they need to train you, and after college comes MORE books, MORE
- information... From first semester freshman year. It's ALWAYS been
- clear. These "kids", as you call me and others my age, generally know
- full-well what this encompasses. A CS degree means you have the minimum
- knolege base needed so that training can begin, in my eyes.
