  18.     I guess many of you guys are working on large C++ projects for commercial
  19. applications, so my question is:

  21.     What configuration management tools do you use? Note that I'm not talking
  22. about version control, although I would be quite interested in that, but I'd
  23. like to know of any commercially-available configuration management and build
  24. systems that handle large C++-based projects well, i.e. large numbers of
  25. developers, several s/w components with lots of source code
  26. inter-dependencies between components.

  28.     It seems to me that using things like SCCS & make just doesn't do the
  29. job. We're currently using DSEE on Apollos, which does the job pretty well,
  30. but we're going to need to upgrade to a new platform in the not-too-distant
  31. future.
